One of North America’s Largest Music Festivals to Heat up South Florida during Memorial Day Weekend

Miami, FL April 1 2009 – An all-star lineup of performers is set to hit the stage once again for the fifth annual Best of the Best International Music Festival. Presented by South Florida’s premier music and lifestyle Promotions Company, JBJ Entertainment, Best of the Best will boast today’s brightest names in Soca, Pop, Caribbean, Reggae and Hip Hop music. This widely anticipated 10-hour event will commence on Sunday, May 24th at Bicentennial Park (1075 Biscayne Blvd.) in downtown Miami. Gates open promptly at 1:00 pm, with the first performance beginning at 1:30 pm. This year’s event is set to be hosted by T-Pain.

Artists already confirmed for this year’s blowout event include DJ Khaled, Rick Ross,Young Jeezy, Bounty Killa, Beenie Man, Mavado, Cocoa Tea, Serani, Wayne Wonder, Elephant Man, Matterhorn, Capleton, and Jabba.

JBJ Entertainment explains, “Best of the Best International Music Festival is more than your average, bland music festival. It is a rich and inventive music event to be savored by the socialites and influential tastemakers of the world. We invite everyone around the country to Miami, Florida to celebrate through music, culture and food.”

The Best of the Best International Music Festival official After Party will be held at Bongos Nightclub and restaurant located at 601 Biscayne Blvd in Miami, FL.

ABOUT RICK ROSS

His third studio album was released on April 21, 2009 under Def Jam Slip n Slide Record. The first single, “Magnificent” featuring John Legend, peaked at #62 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Rick Ross’s album debut as the #1 album on Billboard top 200 in the country.

ABOUT YOUNG JEEZY

His third album, The Recession, was released in 2008. “Put On” featuring Kanye West was the lead single, which also led to a Grammy Nomination for Best Rap performance by a duo. Put On was followed by “Vacation”, “Crazy World”, “My President” with Nas, and “Who Dat” to complete the Recession’s singles. Jeezy appeared on the R&B singles “Love in this Club” by Usher and “I’m So Paid” by Akon (also with Lil Wayne). “Love in this Club” peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

ABOUT T-PAIN

In 2005, his debut album Rappa Ternt Sanga was released and spawned the hits “I’m Sprung” and “I’m N Luv”. Since the release of that album, T-Pain has produced numerous hits of his own and for other rappers and R&B singers. T-Pain has also had over 10 top ten singles on Billboard Hot 100. In 2008, he won a Grammy with rapper Kanye West for the single “Good Life”.
